so near yet so far; childhood friend; hokkien mee.
it is time to blog since i can't get my ass to bed. recently, eugene, chiang, xh and i went on a late night dimsum/supper/slipper trip to mustafa centre. my 2nd time there actually but their first. HAHAHA. just before reaching mustafa, chiang's 3 year old slipper miraculously broke when he hopped into xh's car after dim sum supper. so the mustafa trip suited him really well as he needed to get a new slipper at 2+am. the thing was that we recommended him to get that fake green flowery crocs or tai sing slippers (the piak piak slippers which kopitiam ah peks wear one) or the asuki (sounds very jap right? go and see it for yourself) but he got a cheapo 2.20bucks green ah gua slippers.
actually, mr chiang also known as the butch was my childhood friend and i only knew this last friday. we knew each other before primary school at some RC drawing class at level one of my block. amazingly, none of us made it to become the next famous artist. the art class supposed to develop our talent in art but it caused us to nearly fail art in secondary school. therefore, i think its a scam (never let child learn drawing at 4-6 years old). HAHAHAHAH. so apparently, i know butch for about 15 years already. HAHAHAH.
so near yet so far. HAHAHA. that's for the pang seh kia, eugene (the gay). he had lesson at 9am that day but xh didn't send him home straightaway from mustafa at 3+am and we ended up playing billiard at hougang plaza. xh drove past his house and eugene had to watch in agony as he wasn't allowed to get down the car unless he jumped out. HAHAHA. he begged and begged (mimicking someone also) but still NOT allowed to go home. you see, this is what i mean by a pang seh kia.
ohhhhh. yesterday was great! i fulfilled jaszy's wish of a plate of hokkien mee at kovan and a hilarious event of late night searching of playgrounds in hougang happened afterwards. hopefully she can remember the place because its her first time there. HAHAHAHAH.
